About Me
I am fully qualified classically trained music teacher specialising in singing. I have a BMus Hons degree in music with singing as my specialism. I have a PGCE (qualified teacher status) in secondary education with music. I have Grade 8 Singing with Distinction and provide singing lessons to all levels & abilities. I am friendly and outgoing and thoroughly enjoy teaching. I have a great passion for music and love to nurture the talents of my pupils and help them to progress into confident, competent singers.
Teaching Experience
I have 5 years teaching experience as a secondary school music teacher and am head of department in a school in Manchester. I teach from year 7 up to A-Level and have lots of experience teaching pupils of all ages.
Approach To Music Tuition
I have a relaxed approached to teaching singing and aim to get the best from my pupils. Exam entry is available to do Grades in singing or alternatively it can be more casual singing coaching for those who simply enjoy singing and do not wish to do exams.

Lessons
I'm a fully qualified secondary school music teacher with 5 years experience teaching both GCSE & BTec music and performing arts with great success. I always work at the pace which is right for my pupils and aim to get the best results from them by using audio, visual & kinaesthetic techniques. I also have a high level of experience working with children with learning difficulties.
